LYFT Becoming VELO

LYFT Becoming VELO

LYFT becoming VELO nicotine pouches

The popularity of LYFT has grown over the recent years. But many have asked why VELO has been popping up a lot more. In short, the brand is moving away from the LYFT name and becoming VELO.

British American Tobacco (BAT) is the company which owns the brands LYFT and VELO. They had kept the LYFT name in the Swedish market and named their pouches VELO everywhere else like in markets such as the UK and the US. BAT have found themselves trying to operate two separate names whilst both brands are the same and offer the same range (depending on the market.)

We also believe that the LYFT name conflicted with the ride hailing taxi company Lyft, so it looks like it's in the best interest to move away from the LYFT name.

To build a truly global brand, they have decided to go with the VELO name as the brand name. They have already started advertising, and one of the most prominent places have been on the recent McLaren Formula 1 car.

We have been assured that whilst the name changes, the quality is staying the same. As our stock transitions into the VELO stock, you might notice some image changes and further package changes.
